About us
BARLOW GUITARS OFFERS SOMETHING THAT IS A THING OF THE PAST - A HANDMADE INSTRUMENT BY A DEDICATED CRAFTSMAN.
It started back in 2009 when I decided to attend the Roberto-Venn School of Luthiery. There I learned the fundamental necessities of guitar building (Luthiery). From there I became employed by Paul Reed Smith Guitars. Both my education and my influence from PRS provided me the opportunity to offer an instrument that excels in beauty, playability, craftsmanship, and tone.
Barlow Guitars is owned and operated by me, Ricky Barlow. I handle everything: purchasing, planning, constructing, sanding, the smallest of details, and even the emails. When you buy an instrument from me it is personal. From the starting point of shaping a wood blank all the way to its final polish, I take immense pride in what I am offering, and I know you will experience that as soon as you open the case for the very first time.
